I liked my own facebook status?

So, I recently posted a status on Facebook, and it got like 50 likes in 30 minutes and I liked it. Was it okay to like my own status?

Yeah it's just fine as long as there are many likers.... But it would not be good if you're the only one who liked your status, you'll look like a loner

The problem with liking your own status is that it's already obvious you like your own status if you posted it to begin with. Why would you post a status you don't like?? But FB allows it so the ability to liking your own status is possible, however, it's not consider good facebook etiquette to be liking your own statuses.
