If a 14 year old hacks a facebook account and gets caught, what would his punishment be?

There is no age limit for hacking.
It's a punishable offense in most countries (at least in the civilized ones...).

Depending on the implications of hacking, punishment can be jail time or a fine.

Well a 14 year old that 'hacks' is probably full of shit. His friend just left their account logged on or they typed their password into the email box.

Unless they have done something stupid no punishment really, perhaps a warning.

If they do serious stuff then child rehabilitation.

About 10 Years jail time. A guy here in my area
got sentenced to 10 years for hacking his neighbors
wifi.
