How do I hide (remove) my Facebook timeline "bar"?

I just don't like the fact that everyone can see this bar (placed on the top; right next to the cover photo).
It basically shows everyone when you joined Facebook; mine jumps from 2007 to born, which shows that I joined in 2007.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this. I simply do not want anyone to know when I joined Facebook.

Not really a Facebook person, but you can block everyone to see it.
I do it all the time!

You cant hide the joined date of Facebook.
