How can I make sure that someone can't read my tweets?
Will just blocking them work? Or do I have to do something else?

When you block someone, they can still see your tweets unfortunately. The best way to go is protect your tweets (private your account) this makes it so people have to request to follow you, and if they're not following you, they can't see your tweets. I hope this helped!
