How can I contact facebook?

I have an account from years ago but stopped using it for a while. I forgot the password and now I would like to remove the account or at least delete the content. How can I access an account that I do not remember the information for?

Just go to the old account and try to log in. when you can't because of the forgotten password, click on the "Forgot my password" box below, and facebook will send you a temporary password via the email address you had registered for the account. You can then log in to the old account, go to "settings", and choose to permanently delete that account. If that doesn't work for you, here's the link for facebook's "Help Center."
