Is it right to call facebook messages as "SMS"?
Many people use to call any kind of messages as "SMS" including facebook messages. And this really irritates me. So I'd like to know whether they're right or it is applicable only for telephone messages.

SMS only applies to text messages.
Facebook messages should be called inboxes. Ads |

The best name is IM (Instant Message). They can't be considered wrong if they call sms. Offline texts can be called 'message' or mail.
