How to remove commenting feature on your fan page?

I'm currently an Admin for my company's Facebook Fan Page. We would like to remove the "commenting on our posts" feature entirely. I've looked on our settings and I believe the proper box is unchecked, however the comment box is still showing up on all of our post. Please help, thank you!

if you are talking about the "allow replies to comments" option, that doesnt make it so people cant comment, that just makes it so people cannot nest replies to other posted comments

there is no option for preventing page members from commenting at all

after all, why would you bother creating a fan page in the first place if you didnt want people to be able to leave comments?
