It's a scam. Delete it and don't answer.
Problems: 1. Facebook does not have a lottery. 2. If you had entered a lottery, you would know you did. Obviously you didn't. 3. The greeting is "Dear Winner" not your name. If it were real, they would use your name instead of a generic greeting. 4. Facebook would not be using a yahoo e-mail address. 5. If you had entered a lottery, they would already have things like your name and personal information. 6. Why are they asking for your e-mail address if they e-mailed this to you? 7. There are capitalization and other grammatical errors. These would not be typically present in an official corporate communication. Ads |

You obviously won the lottery you entered with Facebook. Actually I see you never entered it. I know that you did not, so why should you expect to win it? The reason I know you did not enter it is that NO govetrnment agency will have a public email service like O2. Why would Facebook use a Yahoo email address? Why would such a major organisation employ anyone to write this type of letter who could not even put together an English sentence?
You are letting greed switch off your brain. NOBODY wins lotteries they do not enter. And if you were using your brain you would instantly see this was a scam. I suppose you also follow every ink anyone sends you without checking what it really points to, and send everyone who asks you for it your password? WAKE UP!!! Reply to that and you will get robbed. And it will be your own fault. |
