Um.. How the heck did he found me on Facebook? o.O?
Hi guys, I received friend requests from strangers on Facebook, no mutual friends, he's from Turkey, and he chatted with me and he asked me my number! He's 20, and I am only 14! He said he want sex >,< I told him I am 14, but he said doesn't matter. He commented on my picture says 'I wish I could...' You know... I reported n blocked him. Well, it was totally crazy and I don't know how the heck did this guy found me on Facebook? Any idea? :o

There is a really simple method of keeping creepy guys like this from finding you on facebook.

All you have to do is deactivate your account.

Facebook is stupid.

I get random dudes from India adding me on Facebook, and messaging me. It's because my privacy settings are pretty lax, so even my dad (who obviously I have no mutuals with) - can view some of my photos, and message me.

I would suggest checking your privacy settings (just above the "log out" feature on the right hand side) - and check all the privacy settings. Also: where I says something like "allow people to look you up using phone number/ email" make sure it isn't everyone, so some random creep w/ your email can't search for you.

But don't worry, happens to everyone atleast once. It's crazy, yep.

I get friend requests from a lot of people I don't know and we have no mutual friends either. However, if you comment on a post, like lets say a CNN post. People looking through can see your picture and some people that are creeps may try to talk to you. If someone messages you, first ask them if you no them, if they say you don't, ask them how they found you. Also tell them you don't feel comfortable talking with them. If they keep messaging you, you can block them. Another thing you need to do is make sure your whole profile is private and that only you and your friends can see what you are posting! Make sure all of your profile pictures are like that also! If they aren't set to you only or your friends only, strangers can come and check them out.

And if you get other creeps out there talking to you like this, you can always mess with them and threaten to report them to the police, and talk to them about how it is against the law to do these things with minors. But always make sure you report these creeps to facebook! It is very important! And don't add strangers that you have never talked to! Stay safe girly!
