Can't follow more people on twitter?
I know that the following limit for twitter is 2000 people but I'm not following 2000 people at the moment. I am only following 717 people. I unfollowed a few people but I still can't follow anyone. Do I have to wait a day for it to update or something or what? I'm so confused.

Search for tweets with keywords related to your topics of interest.

Look for people who mention your favorite metal groups.

Reply to their tweets and then follow them.

Your response will show them that you have something in common, and make it more likely that they'll follow you back.

Better yet, retweet them if the content is good.

Not only are you forming connections with other Twitter users, but you're also bringing good content to your followers.
