Why can't I access my facebook account from my own laptop?

I can access my facebook account on any device except on my own personal laptop. I put in my login and my password. it then asks me for my security code, when it comes through on my phone i put it in and then it just redirects me to the login page again. no matter how many times i do this this, the result stays the same. Please help

For your phone you need to connect it by going on facebook on a computer. Go to settings,mobile, and connect your number. Then you will be able to get notifications from facebook as well as log in from your phone. Hope this helped!
