How do you know if someone is keeping track of you on twitter or facebook?

I follow a well known man on both facebook and twitter yet they are not on my facebook friend list nor are they following me on twitter. Yet it seems they always post right around the time. Happening for a long while now. He also seems to mirror what I say or am posting I'm doing. It's weird! Almost seems like they are trying to get my attention or comments. Just wondering what you think.

One way is to notice if you are getting a lot more junk mail.
Through the Post Office and/or e-mail.

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles. Facebook applications, on the other hand, are unable to track anybody unless they have the consent of the viewer.
