How do you take your email off of Facebook?

Okay so you know the homepage for Facebook right? The part where you put in you email and password to log in? HOW DO I TAKE MY EMAIL OFF? Its on Internet Explorer I have no idea how to do it! Please help i need to do it today! Every time I go to http://www.facebook.com My email is RIGHT THERE. HELP HELP HELPP!
