Twitter problems I need help!?

My twitter account started sending spam message to literally everyone of my friends so I deactivated it, will it still be able to send messages since the account doesn't get technically deleted for like 30 days?

change your password and no it probably won't be able to send messages. or you could make a new twitter. i don't know if you clicked on some spam but just try doing those things!
