Facebook Messenger for iPhone question?
When I open the application, do I appear as online for my friends on Facebook? I just want the application to see if I've got new messages, but I don't want certain people to see me as online. Is there a way to appear offline and yet send and receive messages?

It has a little phone next to your name, but that's always there unless you physically sign out of the app.
