Why would I be getting these updates on Facebook?

I've been getting status updates posts that say this person has been adding pictures on my newsfeed on Facebook that is not my friend. There are a few occasions where it makes sense like, she'll tag someone i'm friends with on facebook but it doesn't do the usual thing "so and so friends with this person tagged them in a post". it just comes up as if i were there friend. how is that happening?

The person that Posted the Post If They Tag people in It Because They Posted the Status Update you May Still See the Name Also The Only Other Time you May See Someones Posts Is If you Add Someone Even Tho There Not your Friend yet you Can Still See There Posts in your News Feed
