Facebook account deactivation?

If I send a message to a person on Facebook and then deactivate my account, will that person still receive my message??

Yes but when they try to reply back they won't be able to.

Yes ,your message reaches to the person in just secs .So yeah he will be able to read what you write to him :-),however ,he wont be able to respond back

Hey so these guys are saying otherwise,
maybe facebook upgraded it stuff so it wont happen

But last time i had a discussion with a friend who deactivated his account,
i was unable to go back in the history and see our discussion

but facebook has made many upgrades so i think
you messege will be seen

and plus when you deactivate your account,
it takes time to truely be deactivated

so deactivate your account and dont log back in.
after 20 days or so account will be actually closed
at which point i think your messeges may disappear or may not
but for sure he will have atleast 20 days to see it
