Facebook question that seems to always never have an answer...?

I'm curious about the determination of the friends that show up in the top section of the chat bar. Obviously a big part of it is, people that you normally would talk to. However, one person that I normally talk to, my ex, got moved down to the "more friends online" category while another person who I've never talked to on Facebook yet, got moved up to the first section. Who just so happens to be a guy that I like. I've maybe only looked at his profile a few times and that's it... My question is, can Facebook chat reveal to us not only the people that we message often but, who looks at our profiles too? Because I have no idea why he's showing up.

There are many apps that let you know that who has viewed you fb account. But they are not safe. Using the details of your account that you have put in the app, someone can hack your account. Its better not to use them.
