Can you go to jail by making a fake facebook profile?
I got into a fight with one of my old best friends that I've known since the 6th grade .Shes always been a bully to everyone and makes fun of people .She's also isn't a good friend to me cause she judges me too much on what i wear or do and she's kind of rude too . 3 months ago I decided I didn't want to be her friend anymore and blocked her off my facebook and blocked her family too. Then I made a fake profile of a fake emo guy and started talking crap to her calling her bad names . Her family is sending me messages saying they are looking for me everything that I sould stop cyberbulling my ex friend ,My ex friend knows that im the one that is doing this and knows its a fake profile .I deleted the account right away cause I think it was enough to do . I kind of feel bad for what I did . .Can the cops still find my address and everything ???? I live in Texas she lives in California .Can I get arrested for this ??? I don't want to go to jail The reason I did it was because im tired of her making fun of others and me

You just lowered yourself to her level. If you have a falling out with a person you just block them and move on, don't lower yourself to her level, as if you do get into trouble, who has the last laugh? The joys of social media? I still maintain if you have something to say to someone, say it t their face don't hide behind a monitor, no pride in that faceless rubbish.

If all you did was call her bad names you can't get arrested, there is no law against insults or making a fake Facebook profile (as long as you don't try and impersonate a real person).
and even if it was a crime (which it isn't) its very unlikely they would track you down, the law is very hard to monitor online and many online criminals have not been caught.

Yes you will land in jail if something untoward is to happen. To keep it safe delete the comments and profile. Or may be just go and seek legal advices if you are unable to undo.
