Is anyone else experiecing the new facebook layout (Please read!)?
Well I got a new laptop today with windows 8 and when I logged into facebook I was confused with the new features.
For some reason I have a navy blue bar on the left hand side of my screen with my name at the top and a chat list at the bottom.
The chat bar is no longer at the right hand side and I hate it.
My boyfriend got a new laptop a few days ago and he says his facebook is normal.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Also is it possible to get rid of it?
Thanks for any answers in advance
Yes, I realise I spelt 'experience' wrong. I was typing too fast haha.

Hey!
First of all congrats, Wink You're one of the chosen user to it's revolutionary update, 'The new NewsFeed'. The changes include a redesigned layout with larger images of maps, news articles, photos, and apps information, like a Pinterest post. You can choose to sort the feed chronologically or only look at things like what music people are listening to or what events are happening. And depending on the things you liked on Facebook in the past, you will see articles that are trending and that are most relevant.
You doesn't need to worry about this. This is the future of Facebook.
There is no way to go back your old layout.
Facebook has given complete guide to this new NewsFeed here:https://www.facebook.com/help/411149058979649
If you facing any bugs, you can report it to Facebook by, clicking on the small arrow beside Home in the top right-hand corner and select 'Give Feedback'.

Hope this helps! (:
