Can facebook get your location wrong?
Just a quick facebook question - I live in essex, but I noticed that my facebook said I was in london at one point, it usually never does this - plus I have used facebook from my mobile and it says im messaging from my home town, yet my default location is set to london - when usually its set to my home town or work etc, has this happened to anybody else?

Yes it happens on mobile. Because most mobile browsers use their servers to compress the data and hence facebook tracks the sever's location instead of ours.

Yes many times Facebook gets our location wrong....because of any network error.....Dont worry if you have a doubt that you left your account open somewhere else, then go to facebook account settings, and select Security tab and there you will see a link "Active Sessions" open it and close all sessions, and change the password.....
Your account will be safe.....
