How to get more followers on twitter?

Just started twitter, feel like a massive twat with only six followers -_-

How do I get more followers (nothing to do with youtube or anything like that)

There are places you can get bunches of random followers. But they're not much fun. Best thing to do is SEARCH for interests like yours, e.g. fave sport or fave TV show, and find fellow fans, then follow them. Follow a dozen or so at a time, wait a few days and then unfollow anyone who doesn't follow you back. That way you will gradually build up a network of people who want to tweet about what you want to tweet about.

2. Tweet well & tweet often and people will follow you.

3. Follow people who follow people that are like you.

4. Ask people to retweet you.

5. Search for tweets with keywords related to your topics of interest.

7. Regularly unfollow people who haven't followed you back.

8. Repeat your most popular tweets.
