is media and cultural studies related to social science?

could i study social science/psychology at university if i do an access course for media and cultural studies?

i asked an advisor on the phone at the college and she said yes but i think she was just saying that.

Your best bet is to catch a Professor that teaches theses subjects during their office hours and asking them.


but I do believe they are related. Just about every sociology psychology class is related in some way on a micro or macro level.

Cultural studies is more than just studying what different cultures do, but also how they intereact with other cultures with is what sociology focuses on and anthropology.
