facebook haking answers?

I think my ex may have tried to delete my facebook account, when I finally was able to log onto my account all my contacts, pictures and messages ect. were gone, as of now though I think I may have been able to recover it ..facebook sent me a message saying that it has been and that I have to wait 24 hours before logging back in (ligit facebook message) I'm just wondering if anybody else has ever been threw something like this before and if you ended up getting all your contacts and pictures back again? thanks guys, appreciate it (not going to be telling my 'boyfriends' my passwords from now on btw)

Most likely what he did was "Deactivate" your account. Which basically temporarily deletes your facebook account until you decide to login.

Unless he did anything before deactivating, everything should be the way you left it, as soon as you are reactivated.

everything goes back to normal after 48 hours, assuming he didnt also delete your friends or photos before deactivating it
