if i deactivate my facebook account can i still get back in later on?

its cause i had this huge right with my boyfriend and he wont answer my text msg's or phone calls or anything so i just dont want to use facebook nomore but im worried that i might not be able to get back in...or that everthing might get erased?? does it tho (:

Yes deactivating it will still enable you to resume your Facebook at a later time. You will have to wait 24 h however before you can access it. Should you decide to delete it however, it's gone for good
