how to be a successful facebook page owner?

I just started a facebook page, and was wondering how to make it a successful page. I'd also like some tips on how to get a lot of likes like those 30K pages and such, and yes, I know it will take some times.

Why is that important? Why not use that time to pursue a hobby that will bring real reward and self growth?

Facebook is great to share with family and friends, but if your goal to is get as many strangers as possible to "like" you; you need to examine your desperate need for attention.

facebook pages are a waste of time. I have always hated them, all they do is spam my notifications and then I unfollow them. I dont think any of those pages are "successful" unless they somehow make a positive change, which most dont. Whats your page going to be called? You should call it: "That feeling when you realize no one likes Facebook pages"

Do lots of s4s (share for shares) with larger pages. s4s is when you message another page or write on their timeline saying "s4s?" typically, they will say "you first" if they do, what you do is...
1. Go to their page (must be on the pc version of facebook, not m.facebook.com/blahblahblah, that is the mobile version) it should have the normal http://www.facebook.com/blahblahblah
2. Copy their link.
3. Go to your page
4. post the link write in a status something like this: "please like this page! http://www.facebook.com/blahblahblah
5. Go back to the page you asked the s4s on.
6. Comment done.
7. Wait for them to do the same thing.

in order for this to become successful, you must do it on a lot of pages. it works because ppl on the other pages see the link and go to your page through the link. If the enjoy your page, they will 'like' it and u will have increased viewers.

Remember that not all of the other pages will want to s4s since yours maybe really small compared to yours. dont go running up to 30k pages and ask to s4s. Go for pages that have 100-500 first. Then work your way up as you get more and more likers.
