I earned about 20K last year in stock market, i have no job, if i files tax, can i get social security point ?

I do not konw how can one get social security point....I was laied off in 2006 and i didn't work in 2007 but i have around 20K income from stock market in 2007, will I get socity security point from files those income in my 2007 tax ?

Nope - you have to have W-2 wages or self-employment income to get wage credit with SSA.

Stock sales are capital gains income.

Gain from the sale of stocks is not considered earned income. Social security taxes are paid only on earned income.
