how do i stop myself from posting and commenting on facebook?
when i am on facebook i get the urge to write a post or comment someones photo or status but when i do, i end up writing something stupid and im always thinking "why did i do that?" and i get regrets of posting and commenting.. how do i stop myself

If you still want to use Facebook, set yourself a limit - either a limit of how much time you can be on each day (15 min) or a limit of how many status updates or comments you can make each day (3). I think the latter is more effective as you could easily write ten stupid comments in 15 min.

Also, when you write a comment, wait a few minutes before you submit it. Read what you've said and ask yourself if it needs to be said. Be honest. Ask yourself if it is contributing to the discussion. If you're commenting things of general like or approval, try using the 'like' button instead.
