I poked a friend on facebook the other day and he poked me back and we ended up having a poke war...?

... I was appearing offline on facebook and just before I went to close facebook, he poked me again so I thought he can wait till tomorrow and I'll poke him then. I log in today and look at my poke requests and his name isn't there! Could he have canceled his poke request? Why would he do that?

P.s- We get on quite well, he flirts with me sometimes and he sent me a friend request as soon as he met me... and I didn't tell him I have facebook

You can't cancel poke requests. Maybe you poke him or deleted his poke without realising.

Maybe he thinks that he's annoying you and maybe he likes you a lot that's why he canceled a poke because he doesn't want to bother you. :>
