Why can't i post on my friends fb timeline?

My friend hasn't blocked me, and i can do everything i can normally do except post on their timeline. Is it a glitch? when will it get fixed?

Because they have set permissions from privacy policy not to allow anyone post on their timeline.

Because they have their privacy settings put that way. Don't take offense, perhaps they have an overbearing relative that either posts on their timeline too much or might not understand the difference between posting on a timeline and sending a private message. Better safe than sorry.
