facebook credit card scam?

I have some sort of phisihing virus on my computer. When I go to facebook it asks me to confirm my identity and then it asks for my credit card information. I know this is a scam, I have run Microsoft Security Essentials and done a full reset of all my internet settings ie. deleted all history, cookies etc. When I go to facebook the scam site is still there. Any suggestions for things I could try??

This sounds like you have a rogue app on Facebook. You need to go through and delete all apps - a lot of games, friend trackers etc are nothing but scam apps
Also download and run Malwarebytes
