Making a fake facebook account legal help?

I recently had an account of me made by an impersonator. Of course he wouldnt add me as a friend so i went on a fake facebook account with a fake picture off of google and a fake name to try to talk to the impersonator. I was wondering is that legal or not?

Yes, there is no law that says you have to tell complete strangers on the internet who you really are. It is none of facebooks business.
