Am I supposed to thank every single person who likes my profile picture on fb ?

I see a lot of people do this.It seems pointless,why would I thank someone for clicking the mouse button ? I thank only people who comment and tell me how they think the pic is cool.I think people only do it to make their pic appear more in the newsfeed,people who do it usually got a lot more likes.I get an average of 20 likes on each pic without really thanking anyone and that's fine since I don't really care about likes anyways.

i certainly dont thank people who like my profile pic. and i don't expect to be thanked when i like someone else's profile pic. but if people comment on it then i normally say thanks or something.

I never thank anyone who like my pictures on facebook. Just like you, i see it to be pointless.. unless they comment something worth answering do i answer
