If I upload a Picture onto facebook and then make it my Profile picture will it then still have the same likes?

So I uploaded a picture onto facebook and I got heaps of likes. I want to make it my profile picture but if i do will it still have the same amount of likes Automatically or will the likes go back to 0?

Sadly the likes will go back to 0. That's why I upload a picture, immediately make it my profile picture, and delete the one I just posted on my wall

I think it makes it a separate picture after you crop it for a profile picture. So the first version will have the same amount of likes and the second will start with 0.

I just checked it and yes, in my photo albums exists both the original picture with all likes and the cropped picture with 0.... It could depend on whether or not you crop the picture?

if the picture isnt already in your profile photos album (meaning, you have already cropped it) then the likes and comments will not transfer when you make it your profile photo
