How do you remove a 'groups' from your facebook account?

I joined a group of the most talkative people imaginable and I enjoy them but they tie up my entire facebook page.

just open the group page and click on leave group button on right hand side corner,

if you want to remove the news from that group and still join it just click on the right of the news of that group and select hide all news from group and your news area will be cleared from the news of the group and you will still be able to go on the group's page and see what's new

Log in to Facebook
# Click Settings icon besides the notification section.
# Click Leave Group

By this, you will leave the group.
