Is it illegal to set up a Facebook group about Stolen items?
So i would like to make a Facebook page for my community. Basically i want it to be about people all over my city where if they have lost something or found out it's stolen they can notify others in the city so that they can help towards finding it. Is this allowed?

No, that's not illegal and I'd bet it's completely within Facebook policies, as far as you've described.
