Blocked or deleted? Easy 10pts?

He doesn't show up on my friends list, but he does in chat. I click our old chat conversation and his picture is gone and his name is "Facebook User" I can still send him messages, but all of them fail and have an error. His profile does not show up on search.

Earlier, I think he blocked me because his name and picture appeared in chat but I was not able to send him messages. His page showed up in search, but when I clicked it there was an error. Other people could access his page, but I couldn't. If he did block me, there would be no reason why I'm guessing.

This person does not show up any more so I can't see their page when I type thier name. Could an error have caused this? Please tell me if you think I was blocked or he was deleted.

So was I blocked then he deleted his page? Or deactivated temporarily?

if he's no longer in your friends list, you were blocked - you can still read old chat messages from someone who blocked you

You have been blocked. I recently blocked someone and I could not see their profile or their picture but they still showed up in my chat. If other people can see his profile and you can't then yes you have been blocked.

the profile could be deactivated tho .... witch would show the same but easy to check this by going to ur own friends list and search for the name ,a decativated person will show up in the friend list but without a pic just the default pic when u search for them in the friends list page but it only shows on the desktop version of fb
