Can people who are tag in a Status get notifications of likes and comments?

Can people who I tag in a status or a photo on Facebook that did not like or comment on the facebook update get notifications of likes and comments on that update.

They won't get notifications for the likes...only you would. But they will get notifications of the comments left from others which can be annoying to some people as a lot of folks access Facebook with their mobile phones and you will end up alienating people. Some will appreciate tags while others won't so just use discreation...someone will always have a complaint on facebook...lol

If you tag someone in your status or photo, they will get the notification of tag. And comments you and your friends make on that status or photo. the person will not get notifications of likes at all.
