Relationship Status Visibility?

So I changed my relationship status to single. How do I make it appear on the about section of my timeline. I can't see it on my news feed or timeline but I set privacy to friends, so can other people see it?

From Timeline click on the about section, it directs you to your about page. You would see Family relationship category, click edit , you would see a audience selector tool besides the relationship status, click on it and choose the audience you want to see that status and save it,
