I just got fb, i think iv got how it works pretty down pat but is there any unwritten rules i need to know?

1. Like when it says, so and so has accepted your friend request and click here to write on their time line, I don't have to do that Everytime do I?
Do people normally write on each others timelines or just post statuses?

And 2. What's the difference between a timeline and a wall, are they both the same thing?
3., is there anything else I need to know?

a wall is now called their timeline.
don't add people you don't know, you'll get banned for a few days if you do.
