Facebook help needed.?

My friend created his account 2 days ago and we became friends on Facebook. Now yesterday i typed his name on search bar and when clicked on his account,web page opened saying link is broken.I went to my friend list and clicked on recent friends number is written 10 and name shown are 9 when i searched him in my all friends by scrolling i found his name written in black and no profile pic.What does this mean.It doesn't mean that he blocked me because if he did his name will not be shown.I check my other friends list and their also didn't appeared his name.I have deactivated friends in my id because when i click on them message appears saying this account is deactivated and i cannot click the black name.What does this black name means.
Also i searched for him from my friends account he didn't appeared.
Tell me what does the name written in black means....
I opened my chat and i can send him message also

Generaly black name means that you don't have access to see him. This is may be because he blocked you or he may have temporarily de activated his account. Higher possibility is that he has deactivated/deleted his account. No mistery hidden:-P

Facebook Blocked his account, They can be a bit proactive about such. They do this when one of many things happen. Your friend being new to Facebook may have went on a campaign to add everyone he has met or knows at random and these individuals who may not remember him because it has been so long since they saw him, rejects his invite and says they do not know him.

Facbook does hate Desperate Adders, they warn and block a few times. If warning is not heeded, then they permanently block you.
