eye ball in password text box?
why is it when i go to type my password into facebook or yahoo or something, an eye pops up in the text box? what is it? why is it there?

I'm not sure what you mean by an eyeball... You mean these dots? âš«âš«âš«
That's normal. It's to prevent people from reading your password.

EDIT: Clicking the "eye" will show your password. This is a new feature in Windows 8. To turn it off, please follow these instructions:

This happens so people in your room can not see what you are typing in. In Chrome you can change this. You highlight your password and hit Inspect Element. Then look for Pwd or something like that. Then change that to txt.
