I recently started an account but have no clue what im doing. what I want to know is, what are the hashtags for?? and also how do I get followers? I have two followers and one is Jason Castro from American idol and I have absolutely no idea how he found me to follow and why?? how do I send a tweet and how do I reply to tweets

first you have to know something: when you tweet only you followers and just some of other people see ! but when you use a hashtag for a word every body who is used that word with hashtag will see it + the people which are on the link of hashtag ! using them will help you have new followers !
I dont think the one that followed you it real Jason Castro does he have the verify sign after his name ? maybe thats just one of his fans !
