How do you use Facebook correctly?

I know what you're thinking. No, I don't need a guide on how to use Facebook's options. Rather on how to be a proper user, you know, how often do I make statuses or if they are worth posting, what pictures to upload and comments to write on pages or other content (friends profiles or mine)

I'm not trying to schedule my profile. I just don't want to be uninteresting and boring.

Change your profile picture like every 4-5 months.
Update a new status once in 2 or 3 weeks.
