Trying to understand FB fanpages?

I wonder
1) can they not remove negative trolling comments or can they not pre-screen/moderate comments before they go up? They are the administrators of the FB page. You can do that on blogger.com why are they stressing?

2) I am thinking of making a FB fanpage for something, but if my page has to be subjected to every troll being able to flame with impunity, I don't think I'll bother. What's the scoop with FB fanpages?

You yourself are an admin and you can control and overlook the content being posted on the said page.
