Why do people hate Brazil?!?

I don't really know why people hate Brazil and Brazilians that much. They have beautiful beaches, a very great football, good music, good food and GOOD WEATHER.
I think that 90% of the hate is because of the tags that Brazil trends on Twitter. But I don't know why do people of the other countries hate it!
Brazil have never been noticed by actors and singers. It's not like USA or Europe, which the fans can see their idols every year. Brazilian fans only can see their idols 1 time every, like, 3 years! That's why they trend all these tags. They just want to be noticed!
When someone asks why do people hate Brazil/Brazilians, lots of people answer things like "because they're sluts, bitches, etc.". If a Brazilian makes you feel angry, you should get angry with the person who made you feel like that. NOT WITH THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!
And, obviously, if you say bad stuff to someone, they won't just sit down and cry. They will say bad stuff to you too! #Fact
Brazilians just want to show their love and compassion to their idols, and what they get? Hate. Lots of hate. Like, they make tags to make their idols notice them, NOT TO MAKE THE OTHER COUNTRIES ANGRY.
So I just don't know why people hate them. When you talk about Brazil, lots of people think about misery, black persons and people living on the streets. But it isn't like that in the entire country. Lots of brazilians are much richer than some americans. They do have Louis Vuitton. They do have Dior. They do have Nike. They do have Lancôme. They do have Sephora. They do have Channel. So, it's not what lots of people think about them. They're not irracional persons who don't know what a computer is. They do have iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. So I don't know why people think that they're all poor.

I do not feel people hate Brazil so to speak. It is more of a bittersweet perception the country has. Here is the largest nation in a continent that is renoun for psychotic political despots and corruption. The fact many Brazilians exude a "dont worry be happy, lets party" image in lieu of its captial of Rio de Janeiro make people wary.

it just is what it is. Residents of the nation already talking smack over how much better their Olympics would be over londons this past summer wreaks of smugness.

i love brazil. and you should know they are world famous for bossa nova, samba as well.

sorry but this is plain ol ignorance. the income gap is much higher in brazil and their economy was in shambles only a decade ago with super high inflation. And money does not make a country great. Look at Vietnam.
Brazil has a huge drug problem as well and rocketing unemployment. But they are doing well for growth and moving fwd in a great way. But the Olympics will be interesting because they have to clean the streets of the cities of Brazil up from petty crime.
Brazil is a beautiful country nonetheless and a model in Latin America.

I think you are making the mistake that most people have a tendency to do. When a few express their opinion (like on Twitter) you have a tendency to think all people, from whatever group it is, feel the same way.

I'm from the USA. I am pretty impressed with Brazil. I have seen that Brazil is up and coming with one of the best economies in the world right now. They are definitely doing something right. Beautiful beaches, weather, landscapes...an absolute dream. And they have been voted worldwide to have some of the most beautiful women in the world. I've seen the pictures and I can agree (can't wait until they show the men!).

Yes, I'm sure Brazil has some slum areas (I've seen them in the media), like all countries, including ours. If you look at it realistically, people concentrate on the bad so as to make themselves (their country) look better.

Again I'll say, I'm from the USA, and supposedly, we are now the most hated nation on earth. But I will tell you that is not true at all. I talk to people all over the world. We are not hated...you are not hated...by the majority of people on earth.

The haters you are listening to on the internet are the ones that post the most, and the loudest. Please believe that the majority of people on earth LOVE other people, regardless of where they live or come from. They just don't post as much.
