how to get a fb page updates to show up in news feeds?

Hi, well I was on facebook 2 years ago, deleted it, came back and everythign has changed, but can someone tell me how to get a pages updates to show up in my news fees? Like for example, if I like a tv show, how do I get their updates to show up in my news feeds, btw I haven't added anyone yet bc I'm still trying to update my page which is way too confuins, too many links to other sections and pages.
the pages are posting updates bc when I go to look at the page it shows updates 2 hours ago, yesterday, e.t.c but it's like I don't have a news feed

When you like a page, their updates automatically show up in your news feed. If you haven't seen anything yet, it means they haven't posted anything new since you liked them.
