I'm pretty sure this guy blocked me (I did nothing to cause him to block me by my knowledge) because he's not on my friends list anymore and if I click on his profile I can't see any information or anything like that. Does Facebook tell you when someone blocks you? So I was like whatever I don't care, but a couple of days ago he messaged me on Facebook. Is that possible or is something else screwy going on on Facebook.

I don't think they're able to contact you because once they block you, they can't see your profile. Either if you can't view the page it's just the site itself or maybe they did but then put your name in the inbox (which I don't think is possible, but then again I never tried it with anyone I blocked). Chances are they probably didn't block you.

No...at least not from the blocked account in question. Facebook will not notify you that you have been blocked by another user.

He could have unblocked you and sent you the message then blocked you again.

he could have blocked you, and then unblocked you, sent you a message, and then blocked you again

or he deactivated his account, reactivated his account, sent you a message, and then deactivated his account again - but he would still show up on your friends list in that case

another possibility is that facebook suspended his account for breaking the rules, like lying about your name or age, creating more than one account, or sending friend requests to people you dont actually know, or spamming, trolling, or advertising something that is not allowed
