Facebook blocked by IP?

So, I believe I've been blocked on facebook by someone. I went to check to see if I could search their name up, no I couldn't. This is perfectly fine. However, when I went to my other account, I tried searching their name and I still could not find the person. Perhaps the person closed her account. So I asked my friend if he saw her on there, and he said he did, which really made me wonder if the person really did block me or not. And if so, why can I not access their account through another account. Maybe my friend is messing with me and the other person did close her account. Or did facebook now make it so that detects the IP address and blocks it that way?
I honestly don't really care if this person blocked me or not; I'm just curious as to how she did. Because I've looked this up and facebook is only supposed to block users, so why can I not go to their profiles through other accounts? If someone can explain, please do so.

Maybe that person blocked your other account also.
Or may be she did really close her account and your friend is fooling you.
