They can see your messages but can't reply. And you won't be able to send them messages once there blocked.

Once you block them, they won't be able to see anything you ever sent them. So you won't be able to leave any message.

They cannot reply, they CAN see the message, but it won't say you sent it. It will show up as "Facebook User" On the name screen. So neither you or them can message each other.
